Frequently Asked Questions
What areas does Tricam Construction cover?
We cover South West London. See our Areas We Cover page for the specific districts we work in, or get in touch to confirm your location.
What types of projects do you take on?
We handle loft conversions, basement conversions, side extensions, kitchens, bathrooms, and full renovation projects. Whether it's a single room or a whole-house renovation, we scope the project to fit what you need.
Do you manage the whole process, or just the build?
We manage the full process: design, pre-construction, procurement, build, and close-out. We work closely with architects, engineers, and interior designers throughout, so you don't have to coordinate multiple contractors yourself.
Do you have in-house technical expertise, or do you subcontract everything?
Tricam Construction is led by a qualified civil engineer, giving us in-house capability for large-scale and structurally complex projects. This means technical designs are reviewed and understood internally rather than passed back and forth with external consultants.
Is your work professionally certified?
Yes. All structural work is signed off by a Building Control Officer, gas work is Gas Safe certified, and electrical work is signed off by a certified electrician. We liaise directly with the Building Control Officer and obtain the completion certificate once the gas and electrical certificates have been submitted.
Can you work with an architect or designer I've already hired?
Yes. We regularly work alongside architects, engineers, and interior designers already engaged on a project, focusing on the practicality and feasibility of the design during the build.
Can you recommend an architect, interior designer, or structural engineer?
Yes. We've worked with a number of architects, interior designers, and structural engineers across many jobs, and we're happy to put you in touch with professionals we know and trust if you don't already have one lined up.
How do I get started?
Contact us to schedule a consultation. We'll talk through your project, confirm we cover your area, and outline next steps.
